Chateau Puyguilhem, Dordogne
Chateau Puyguilhem home of Corvus Albinus and, actually the best preserved Renaissance style castle in the Périgord. The castle was built in the beginning of the 16th century. The main section, set at right angles, is completed with an 18th century wing. Inside, an exceptional fireplace, the one that attacked Jéhenne, depicts the twelve labours of Hercules. The Chateau is listed as a historical monument and is open to visitors, just don't go after dusk.
